The 339 Club is a select group of donors committed to the Mission's long-term growth and impact in the community. Membership in this "exclusive club" is limited to 339 donors who commit to make regular, monthly donations in a minimum amount of $20.  By joining, you will provide stable support that empowers us to plan and execute meaningful programs, expand our facilities and outreach and create a lasting impact on the lives of our less fortunate neighbors.

Featured Donors

We're so excited to wecome First Christian Church to the ranks of our church sponsors!  They typically designate their financial donations to one of our specific needs.  For example, they recently made two donations --  one to cover the purchase of a new washing machine for our men's shelter and a second to pay for bedding for the upcoming men's shelter expansion.  You too can designate your donations to a special purpose or need.  Or you can simply donate to cover our costs of operation.

First Christion also participates in gleanky.org which gathers and distributes fruit & vegetables to feed the hungry.  As part of this organization they regularly deliver food to Gathering Place which is used in our community kitchen.  Sometimes there is so much that we make it availble for pick-up by anyone in the community that needs some help.
We post a notice on Facebook when these foods are available to the general public.

We are so gratelful to have First Christion join us in serving the people of Scott County.  Welcome to the team!

Other Ways to Support Us

Help Meet Basic Needs

Certain items are used so regularly that we don't even think about them.  But when you don't have them to meet your basic daily needs, thinking about them occupy your every thought. These items include bath soap, shampoo,  deodorant, toothpaste, toothpaste,  disposable razors, feminine hygiene products, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.  A list of specific items regularly needed is included in the "Amazon Wish List" link below.

You can donate these & similar items by dropping them off at our office between 9am & 5pm Monday through Friday.  Or you can purchase them through Amazon and they will be delivered directly to us.

Clothing & Personal Items

We also accept donations of:

  • new & gently used men's, women's & children's clothing; socks & underwear are always needed; coats during winter months -- in season clothing is most appreciated!
  • furniture, personalty & larger items -- please call us first to see if there is a need -- our residents often need these items when they move to a new home but this need varies from week to week

Donations of these items can be dropped off at our offices between 9am & 5pm Monday through Friday.

We have recently purchased a new building to serve as our "donations center".  We hope to have it fully up and running by the Spring of 2024.  The plan is to have volunteers manage it so give us a call if that would be something that you might like to do.
