At The Gathering Place, we believe that everyone deserves a safe, welcoming place to turn to in times of crisis. Our Low-Barrier Emergency Night Shelter is exists to provide immediate assistance to individuals facing homelessness, offering a safe and supportive environment for those in urgent need.
Our Emergency Night Shelter is open to anyone in need of a place to stay. It is specially designed to help those experiencing immediate crisis and individuals awaiting entry into our shelter self-sufficiency program
What We Provide
Safety First
A secure, judgment-free space to rest and regroup.
Basic Needs
Nutritious meals, access to showers, clean clothing, and hygiene items to ensure comfort, health, and dignity.
Laundry Facilities
On-site services to help keep personal items clean and fresh.
Compassionate Support
A team dedicated to providing care, encouragement, and connections to additional resources.
What to Expect
We won't ask you for an ID.
You will be asked to complete a simple form that acknowledges your stay with us.
When the weather is 40* and below, the Emergency Night Shelter will remain open for the entire day.
When the temperature is 41*, we ask the Emergency Night Shelter guests to leave at 8 am and rejoin us between 5-8 pm.
You will have access to help from our staff the following morning if you are in need of resources and referrals to our partner agencies.
